WHAT IS AN HOURMETER?

An hourmeter is used in systems that operate with electricity. It counts and records the total working hours of the system during a designated time period. Similiarly to it’s intended use, it’s structure and working principle is pretty simple.

Device is connected to the electrical charge that working time of it will be measured. When energy input to the device starts, energy passes through the hourmeter and the count begins. Moment the energy input stops, hourmeter stops counting and when the energy input starts again, the hourmeter proceeds to count the energy from where it left off.

What to consider when choosing an hourmeter?
